Nolan North is one of the most prominent voice actors in the video game world and has made a significant impact through his roles. One of his most famous and beloved performances is as the voice behind the charismatic adventurer Nathan Drake in the popular video game “Uncharted”. With his skillful voice acting and ability to capture the character’s nuances and emotions, North has made Drake an icon in the gaming world.
In 2007, he voiced the character Nathan Drake for the first time for the video game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Since then, he has continued to portray the character Drake in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. North as Drake has been nominated twice at the Spike Video Game Awards in the “Best Performance by a Human Male” category.
Other notable video game voice roles include The Penguin in Batman: Arkham City, Deadpool in various Marvel titles, and Doctor Edward Richtofen in Call of Duty: World at War and Black Ops. North has also lent his voice to animation, notably as Cyclops in Wolverine and the X-Men and Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
