Matthew Maher is an American actor. He is known for his roles in various movies and tv series; including Our Flag Means Death, Bringing Out The Dead, Dogma, Jersey Girl, Gone Baby Gone, It’s Kind of a Funny Story, Captain Marvel, and Air. Additionally, Maher has an extensive theatre career.
In a popular HBO Max series, Our Flag Means Death, Matthew had one of the main roles as Black Pete, an irritable pirate.
Nolan North is one of the most prominent voice actors in the video game world and has made a significant impact through his roles. One of his most famous and beloved performances is as the voice behind the charismatic adventurer Nathan Drake in the popular video game “Uncharted”. With his skillful voice acting and ability to capture the character’s nuances and emotions, North has made Drake an icon in the gaming world.

Among his most notables ones over the past 20 years are Danger Girl, Jonah Hex, Avengers, X-23, Uncanny X-Force, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Infinite Horizon, Poe Dameron, Daredevil, Cable and XMen.

Kit Harington is an accomplished British actor. His TV debut was in the “Game of Thrones” series portraying Jon Snow. The role of Jon Snow is still his most notable work. His most famous work as a voice actor is from the movies “How to train your dragon 2 & 3” in which he portrayed Eret.

Currently she is working on “Hack/Slash: Back to School” and “Life is Strange: Forget-Me-Not.”

Toimistopojat is a collective of well-known Finnish YouTubers, known for their hugely popular and entertaining testing, challenge and game videos, as well as a podcast called Toimisto+.

Art from paper! Let’s test your finger dexterity together! In the workshop, we will create three-dimensional collaborative artwork from paper. There is a limited amount of supplies in the workshop, but please come and see what’s being done! – You can take a picture in front of the artwork.

Misha Collins is an activist dedicated to inspiring cultural and civic engagement in young people. He is also the creator of GISH (The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt), which uses creativity to gamify goodwill and create social change.

Anime (or animation) Music Videos are forms of video art, made by combining elements from an animated series or movie with a song. The goal is to edit a video, where the chosen music track blends in seamlessly with the video material in the style of a music video. The videos are not locked to any given genre. In the end, there are as many interpretations as there are source material combinations. An AMV creator may, based on personal preferences, choose to focus for example on storytelling, visual aspects, comedic value or technical editing quality. In addition to the most common video sources, like animated series and movies, we are also allowing material from games to be used in this competition.

Online communities can act as peer support or identity builders, and communities related to digital gaming are no exception. The cozy gaming phenomenon, studied by the speaker Julia, offers an online community for individuals interested in digital gaming who don’t identify with the stereotypical gamer role. The phenomenon gained momentum during the pandemic lockdowns, as games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons type of games provided players with the opportunity to spend time with loved ones and maintain routines. Come listen to observations about the phenomenon of cozy gaming on Sunday at the academy stage!
